Mobarakeh Steel Group (MSG) has defined its future technology priorities in three strategic pillars: Circular Economy and Green Steel, Digital Transformation and AI, and the production of High-Value-Added Products. During a meeting with Isfahan elites, the company stressed its goal of transitioning from a technology user to an exporter of industrial knowledge and licenses.
A strong, “agile” collaboration is underway with the National Elites Foundation, supporting 65 research projects (34 in implementation). MSG, a recent Steelie Award winner for a sustainability project recycling sludge into high-value material, plans to increase its total investment from 8.5 billion to 12 billion Euros. This partnership with the elite foundation will be reformed to better serve industrial needs. The approach will shift from “supply-driven” to “demand-driven,” utilizing methods like reverse-pitch events to identify and fund solutions for the company’s specific technological challenges.
