Abbas Mohammadi, Manager of Mobarakeh Steel’s Steelmaking and Continuous Casting Area, emphasized the pivotal role of domestic experts in realizing this project on the sidelines of the event. He announced that the localization of the slab cutting machine was executed by leveraging the capabilities of experts from Mobarakeh Steel’s support, supply, and design units. This initiative was not merely a technical accomplishment but a strategic necessity that has brought significant economic advantages.
Referring to the project’s technical complexity, Mohammadi described it as being “completely specialized, similar to software design.” In this project, all mechanical, electrical, and automation components of the cutting machine were fully designed, implemented, and commissioned by domestic specialists. This self-sufficiency has eliminated heavy foreign exchange and Rial costs and created “significant effectiveness in the production process.”
The Steelmaking Manager stated that the spirit of productivity at Mobarakeh Steel transcends a mere organizational plan, making the selection of the best productivity project a difficult task. He attributed this to the human capital of the complex reaching a “level of self-awareness and dynamism” where employees themselves are continuously advocating for productivity and development. Mohammadi ultimately recognized this spirit as the driving factor in transforming Mobarakeh Steel into a “successful model in the field of industrial productivity” and expressed his appreciation for the dedicated staff of the complex.
