A Blueprint for Shaping Iran's Future

Speaking at the 1st Specialized National Gathering of the Additive Manufacturing Value Chain organized by the University of Tehran, Hossein Afshin, Vice President for Science, Technology and Knowledge-Based Economy, likened the layer-by-layer production process of additive manufacturing to the path of national development. He emphasized that Iran's future is constructed through an interconnected series of steps across science, technology, and industry—requiring effective synergy among universities, knowledge-based enterprises, and major industries to transform knowledge into products, industrial capability, and economic value.

Gov’t plans national quantum labs under infrastructure expansion push

The vice president for science, technology and the knowledge-based economy announced prioritization of the expansion of infrastructure for quantum technologies as well as plans to establish national and reference laboratories as part of the effort.
